How To Troubleshoot Common Problems With Inverter Batteries?

One of the devices that are considered as a source of continuous power supply is called a battery. It is of many types. One of them is an inverter battery. They are mostly used in homes or business offices etc. They supply power when the grid is unable to provide electricity during a power outage. Due to its continuous usage, it sometimes has some issues and problems over time. Following points will explain the issues and how to troubleshoot and resolve them-

Inverter battery
1.Low battery backup time: You need to check the battery’s age in cases where your inverter battery is not able to provide you with enough backup time. With time, the battery’s capacity to hold a charge decreases. You may also need to reduce the load on the inverter by disconnecting unnecessary appliances.

2.Battery not charging: Check the battery's connection to the inverter in case it is not charging properly. If there is no problem over there, check the inverter's charging circuit. If nothing is wrong like that, you may need to replace the inverter or get it repaired.

3.Battery overcharging: Overcharging is a very common problem that can harm the battery and reduce its lifespan. If you notice the battery is overcharging, check the inverter's charging circuit. If the circuit is working correctly, the battery's voltage may be too high. You can adjust the voltage using a battery charger.

4.Battery not holding charge: If the inverter battery is not able to hold a charge, it can be due to a process called sulfation which occurs when lead-acid batteries are not used regularly. This results in a buildup of lead sulfate crystals over the battery's plates reducing its capacity to hold a charge. This can be resolved by desulfating the battery using a desulfator or by replacing it.

5.Battery overheating: The overheating of a battery can damage the battery and affect its lifespan. If your inverter battery is overheating, it is very important to make sure that it is not placed in a hot environment. Also make sure to check if the battery's electrolyte level is correct. Add distilled water to the battery from time to time.

It is important to understand how to troubleshoot small issues and problems that arise with the usage of inverter batteries for non stop power supply. Even after using the methods mentioned above, the problem persists, it is best to seek the help of a professional.

Why It’s Time to Start Depending on Solar Energy

India is a hugely densely populated nation in the world housing more than a billion people. With the changing times, human requirements are increasing aggressively. Earlier the facilities which were considered to be a pleasure like owning a vehicle now have become a necessity. So, the advancements are leading to advancements in dependency on nature. With the extinction and reduction in the non-renewable energy sources, fulfilling native requirements was hard till solar energy came into the picture.  Solar energy is the only way out we can protect ourselves as well as fulfill our needs sufficiently. Tech geeks and experts are trying to decrease the cost of generating solar power. Adding to that, many solar panel manufacturers and solar battery manufacturers in Lakhimpur are joining the way to produce high-quality solar panels and solar batteries respectively. In Mount Abu, a place near Rajasthan, there is Asia’s largest solar panel installed. It implies that our nation is g...

How to Buy Automotive or Car Battery | Tips To Buy Best Car Battery

When purchasing an automotive battery , there are several factors you should consider to ensure that you are getting a battery that is suitable for your vehicle and meets your needs. Here are some steps you can follow to help you buy the right car battery: Determine the type of battery you need: There are two main types of automotive batteries: lead-acid and absorbed glass mat (AGM). Most vehicles use lead-acid batteries, but AGM batteries are becoming more popular for their superior performance and maintenance-free design. Check your vehicle owner's manual: Your vehicle owner's manual should specify the type of battery required for your vehicle, as well as the battery's physical size, voltage, and amperage. Consider your driving habits: If you drive in extreme temperatures or take short trips frequently, you may need a battery with a higher cold-cranking amperage (CCA) rating. Look for a warranty: A warranty can give you peace of mind and protect your investment. Look for ...
